MorildMorild

Morild (Norwegian for phosphorescence). Furniture collection in white and translucent blue corian, consisting of seating, table and computer station. The elements are lit from the inside. This way the sides are accentuated as glowing areas in the landscape you compose. Morild was originally drawn for the waiting area in a ferry terminal in Oslo, where most of the traffic is after sundown. Morild is not only a furniture collection with a practical function; it will be the focal point of the room as a giant, glowing, atmospheric sculpture.  Morild was shortlisted in the Designboom competition The skin of Corian in 2006.
